"Last Orbits"

Fret for the last of the orbits shining,

In inky seas, rests some unsound fear,

Swirling unknown, celestial lining,

Of chords of wonder no being can hear,

Consider more deeply, what lies unscathed,

Just out of the grasp of harmonious

Vivid colors, how your music does make,

Mere choirs of ours, seem so erroneous,

And how sweetly do we sing so safely,

Forgetting how all life is created,

Beholding that, it feels none can make me,

Imitate all the faces so jaded.

Now, lay beneath the last orbits fading,

And revel in the permanent shading.
